About

Michelle Lilly is a Chicago-based freelance scene designer whose work focuses on immersive environments and unique narrative experiences.  She was a co-founder of Brass Ink Studio, a Chicago-based design firm, and also a co-founder of Rabbit Hole, a company that created live-action narrative-based games.  Michelle spent four years as New Leaf Theatre's resident scene designer and company member, and five years as the full-time Technical Assistant in Chicago Shakespeare Theater's scenery department.  Michelle holds a BA in Theatre and English from Truman State University and an MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University.
